"Ba caaan"

Oh boy this child!!! I love him with everything I have but eating struggles are the PITS! All the sudden he has decided he will eat a ton one day and the next eat hardly anything. One day he will eat fruit and fruit and more fruit and the next he requests only "pirit" (pirates veggie booty) But in there is one loop hole BACON. The kid loves loves loves "ba caaan" he watches as i cook it every other morning and waits for his bacon. He will climb in his chair and wait for bacon and sometimes requests more and will choose to only eat that despite the fact that his mother who is exhausted has prepared him french toast just the way he likes it, and yes that is powdered sugar but here is my rationalization for why that is acceptable. I make his french toast with sprouted bread and organic eggs and milk and antioxidant rich organic cinnamon and even add organic ground flax... plus he doesn't eat it with syrup so a tiny sprinkling of powdered sugar is just fine.

But what can you do I have read this is normal toddler behavior and you should aim for a balanced healthy week not focus on a day so I am trying to do just that but my over anxious controlling side screams in agony every time he spits something out with a decisive "YUCK!"
