"Two" Infinity and Beyond

So I had an adorable party theme in the works for Bub's second birthday party which I promised myself would be more laid back than last years party which you may remember from here, the idea was Popcorn and Lemonade (two of Blake's favorite snacks.) I was fighting against the Disney party since I have a feeling a will be throwing many a Disney party is his future, BUT a birthday express catalog came to the house and the kid repeatedly brought it to me opened to the Toy Story pages and so here we go........
I made the army men rope using just a glue gun, cheap army men and kitchen twine, easiest craft of the party (except trying to get it untangled) I wanted it to look like they were trying to descend upon the cake. And to this day Blake goes to the table and says "hut hut hut" (that's his army man sound)

Buzz Lightyear water bottle wrappers (Daddy wrapped them all alone!!)

Alien cupcakes, so easy to make. Although it was hard to find the necessary candy for it

I made labels for a few food items, including Buzz's Rocket Fuel (which did later get organic lemonade in it), Wheezy's Chezzy Snacks, and Mr.Potato Head's Chips.

Hamm Cake pops, the actual cake pop not hard to make but the edible ink pens I have did not work on the candy coating so I had to improvise, not perfect but while they were drying on the counter Blake came over and yelled "Hammm" and I knew it was ll worth just for that.

The Cake, which gain he did not eat. What is up with that ????

 Favor basket
Krayton is working on having all cast member autographed 11x14 photos for the kid and I wanted to display on the ones we have already but space was limited so we went the character of the moment BUZZ, signed by Tim Allen of course.
I set out a few of his many many many Toy Story toys

The first banner I have made myself and it was pretty fun I will be making more ( although I do wish I had used non patterned paper so the letters stood out better, live and learn)

I set out popcorn and popcorn boxes and water for the kids to watch Toy Story (which we quickly found out all ours were scratched and so the next door neighbor came to the rescue, Thanks Weldges!)

I cut out a bunch of potato head pieces out of construction paper and had them out for the kiddos to put together.

Uh Buddy that's not a chair

Don't even get me started on the tee shirt fiasco, I ordered some, the shirts never came or answered the phone or emails, and so I had to whip one up at the last minute!

 Birthday song time!
So we learned that H.C. loves cake pops!!! And she ate TWO!

 Playing with Grandpa
 So sweet!
 Cane and Sword fighting
By the end of the party the birthday boy was exhausted and ready for a nap.
