A Bore, a Birthday, and a Blakey in the City....

This is the last NYC post and as usual the last one will be a hodge podge. Mom and Blakey and I headed to the Museum of Natural History (mind you by this time we were ready to go home) and so of course on the way to the museum Blake got car sick for the first time ever and vomited all over his special dinosaur outfit I put him for the the Dinosaur museum, so off to an awesome kid's boutique for a change of clothes and would you believe it a whole new Dinosaur outfit emerged, luck I tell ya. Anyway the museum was huge and kind of a bore for a toddler......
This face basically sums it up

Of except the gift shop where of course Bub chose a cup among many other things, hey where are those things I need to track them down...oops

The cutest was when he decided this was where he should be served lunch, this was a special dinosaur exhibit with benches to view a show not to eat

While showing this to the boy he started signing "bath" and I was like oh man he's really lost it he wants a bath in the middle of the day and then DUH, he thought this gorilla was signing bath :)

 DUH MOMMY!!! BATH BATH!!!

That very tall Dino did get a little interest

Did I mention we shopped??? This was another shopping trip and this hand treatment station/sink in a shop I can't remember the name of was awesome

Ummm did I also mention we hit up a few cupcake shops? I love cupcakes!!! And this place was the winner.
Daddy did not think this was funny when I text him a picture asking if he wanted one (they didn't have and Red Sox ones)

Our last night we celebrated Sister's birthday at a fancy Italian restaurant, once  again the baby had his "quiet" toddler setup and was complimented on his behavior by many.

He did not enjoy his fancy meatball though

This waiter enjoyed serving us, by us I mean Rachael as most men waiters do :)

Happy Birthday Baby Sis love you bunches!!!

This is where I live behind the lense, just where I like it

Hey it takes work to look like that

For whatever reason on our last night Blake realized this place was pretty cool and took it all in

 "WOW!"

So yes the poor kid is often dragged along to many many many shops, and I can not tell a lie this was on second trip to Lush (GO NOW) while we were there. I had a basket holder helper, and he was a cutie!

 GO NOW REALLY!!!

And then before we knew it (Hahaha) it was time to fly home and I may or may not have been doing an Irish jig even though we had to wake up at 4 am to make our flight. I was fun but it was an adventure in patience with a toddler and life in a big city is one that has to be learned and "I ain't learned it yet"! But I have a feeling we will be back and I will be better prepared for the "fun" that lives there.
