9 Months

Blake at 9 months....

UPDATE with 9 Month Doc Visit Notes and Stats-

Weight 25 lbs 4 ounces 95%

Height 28.5 50% (although they are unsure that is correct becuase he was uncooperative)

Head 48 ( a little large but nothing to worry about since it is porportionate to the rest of him, and large heads are genetic (Krayton )

Iron a little low but nothing some meat or vitamins can't fix

1. Talks A LOT! He says

Dada (his first word a quite a while ago)

Mama

Hi

Hey ( learned that from Daddy)

Hi Jack (Jack is one of the dogs, but he calls both dogs Jack, so cute)

Something that sounds like I Love You

He also babbles a ton, like gaga, baba, and just plain old jibberish

2. Claps

3. Waves Hi (usually accompanied by the word Hi, he loves to wave and say Hi to random people when we are out and about)

4. Still trying to crawl, he gets around usually by scooting but has finally been able to get on all fours with belly off the ground

5. Gives high fives (occasionally)

6. If he is wearing a velcro diaper he takes it off (not fun)

7. Loves to be outside but has recently been afflicted with allergies (runny nose)

8. Loves to bang everything, whether it toys together or just drumming on whatever surface he can get his hands on

9. Has moved past footy PJs, now sleeps in short sleeved non footies PJs :(

10. Takes two naps a day (9:30 - 10:30) (1:00- 3:00) usually not alone.

11. Refuses to eat all the homemade food I have made for him, and for whatever reason will only eat commercial baby food

12. Still has no teeth, but according to Dr. Long they are in the works

13. Survived his first long period of time away from Mommy (about 4 hours) which he spent with Memaw while Mommy and daddy attending a wedding. I think he did better than I did.

14. Continues to sleep with Mommy and Daddy, and his crib is still being used as a play area and sometimes a very expensive laundry basket. He still wakes up frequently (2-3 times, sometimes more)to comfort nurse but I have decided we will sleep train when he is about 1 year, I choose to take advantage of all his cuddles and I realize he will not always want to cuddle with Mommy so much.

15. Loves to give kisses A LOT of kisses

17. Loves to click his tongue

18 Trys to give you whatever he is playing with

While Blake had his first long babysitting session, Daddy hung out with HC.

And blew some bubbles which we brought home for bubby.
