We are Disney folk this much we know! And Christmas time is amazing at Disney but something shifted this time, in a good way in an amazing way.....
Well as usual Blake enjoyed the french fries (and I made that shirt the night before we left it is supposed to be a letter "B" Rudolph, it even had a jingle bell which the child quickly removed)
But this year we made sure to watch the parade at Mickey's Christmas Party and then headed to the Winnie the Pooh ride, a ride Blake has ridden many many times before.
This was his face when it was over, we have video of him just loving every second of that ride and so since there was almost no line we headed in for a second ride with mommy sitting in front so I could capture some of that joy that I want to bottle up and keep with me forever.
JOY!!!!
The next day we headed to Downtown Disney where we went to the Lego store and
TRex Cafe where we got to sit in the ice cave, perfect for Christmas
this is essentially Blake's face whenever DVDs are around
The also have a RideMakerz store where Blakey and Daddy built a very cool remote control Tow Mater
I have to admit I loved seeing the husband holding a power tool
Since Blake already had his bicycle outfit on we decided we should be those tourist who take a bike ride around the Disney Boardwalk. Blake however did not enjoy sitting upfront alone
And once he was snuggled in between Mommy and Daddy and the ride was underway he was fast asleep
That night we went to Hollywood Studios to see the Osbourne Family Lights which if you get a chance to go you should it was really cool, so cool in fact that Blake decided it best to just lay down and enjoy them
Not once but twice
He really enjoyed the rides this time and it was amazing for Krayton and I to experience the rides through his eyes
We had to visit Chef Mickey's again since we again stayed at the Contemporary, this time we did dinner and it was pretty good
The next night we went to Epcot, and got in to watch the Candlelight Processional Show which was amazing and centered around the true meaning of Christmas. The music was quite loud with an orchestra and probably 300 choir singers but almost every child there was sleeping on the way out, the music must have soothed them all to sleep, including ours.
On the way out of town we headed to Bass Pro Shops to see what there Christmas thing was all about, it was pretty interesting especially for us "city" folk who know nothing of hunting, etc
Blake on the other hand likes guns and arrows and fishing poles, guess we will have to wing it
Although his plan for the ducks was to just push them down since the arrow thingy seemed a little difficult.
It was an amazing trip and Krayton and I both agreed our best yet and I know it will only get better as he gets older and really can appreciate how lucky we are to be able to visit so often.
