Christmas Arrives!!!

  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Something happens as you get older Christmas comes in a flash whirlwind type of a way and I find myself trying desperately to enjoy every moment of it. Christmas Eve was perfection for me, relaxed and fun and spent with family.

We painted our salt dough ornaments
I obviously painted Blake's hand print ornament

We had steak and lobster and baked potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts for dinner and for dessert I made a second batch of Martha's amazing marshmallows for smores

Which we roasted in our new fire pit, hey starting a fire isn't that easy, did you know that?

Blake stayed safely snuggled in Aunt Rachael's lap

Of course Blake requested Frosty the Snowman before bath time, and if you are judging the ridiculous amount of gifts there judge away! It's disgusting we as a family have a problem when it comes to going overboard with gifts. We need to work on our self control.

Of course we opened the traditional one gift on Christmas Eve

And ended the evening with the reading of The Night Before Christmas

Santa likes themes and this year his theme was pirates, he really knows Blake

I like the idea of making a homemade gift for Blake every year and this year I painted these little guys, tedious yes but I loved very second of it. I displayed them on his new lego table I made for him and he immediately played with them yahoo!

And then jumped right in his new trampoline

Opening gifts was an all day long process especially since once he opened this gift he wanted only to play with that. His favorite gift this Christmas was definitely the Toy Story Mania game you plug into the TV and is just like the ride at Disney

Well that and the Charlie Brown card daddy got for him. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and Blake even ate dinner naked, what can you do he's 2!

Hope everyone's  Christmas was full of love and joy and you enjoyed every moment you could during such a special time of year.
