Wowza! I have got some serious catching up to do! And here is why this pregnancy has been a doozy to say the least....weeks of horrifying nausea, followed by pre-term labor and here I am on my 11th week of bed rest so I am sure it all makes sense now. That being said I gotta get this thing caught up before baby #2 arrives, this is essentially our family memory book and Blake's baby book so I want to keep it up.
Shall we then.....
The Johnson's love the fall, we love pumpkin patches and pumpkin lattes and everything in between. Blake this year happened to be obsessed with Despicable Me so that is the theme we went with this year. Blake however does not love costumes, actually he hates them! I am not sure why and even if they are essentially normal clothes he still knows and cries and then cries some more. Sometimes I feel like I am dragging both these boys through "fun" life experiences. Krayton and Blake couldn't be more alike if they tried.
Time for pictures (unedited pictures though, editing is just not something I have time for right now;)
I think we headed to the pumpkin patch twice this year.
When in doubt pose!
I try to do an activity every day the week leading up to Halloween. We painted small pumpkins and Blake was not into the picture part.
Here is how pumpkin carving works here...
1.Daddy cleans them out
2. Blake supervises
3.Mommy carves the design
4. Blake looks on in amazement
Monster cupcakes
I made this bag for Blake one night, when I realized I would never be able to find a matching bag for his costume. It was pretty easy just used felt for the whole thing.
Oh and we found out we were PREGNANT! Apparently in this household you mention out loud you are ready to start trying for baby #2 and then 5 minutes later take a pregnancy test and realize God decided "oh you said you were ready, here you go no trying necessary."
Pure Joy.....No?
So glad I ordered that handmade minion crocheted hat so you could wear it for 5 seconds.
After trick or treating our block we just hung on the porch passing out the goods. It was a great Halloween as usual!
