That's right I took a toddler to New York City, not only that but on a plane no less! An adventure is what I told myself and an adventure it was. Krayton had a long business trip planned and it ended in NYC and then my Mom and Sister planned a trip to scope things out for Rachael's big move, and so when the husband said "you should go too" I thought what the heck. And so I kid you not 800 pictures later here we are blog post time......
This is how bub liked to travel around the airport.Baby's first plane rides...
All ready with his backpack and Buzz of course. He was such a good little traveler never cried once throughout four flights and slept on both of the long flights (thank goodness.) I had snacks and new toys and ipads and everything and that helped but nothing helps like cuddles with your momma and I broke the no daytime nursing rule for the plane rides since it is suppose to help their ears.
We went to Little Italy the first night for dinner and Bub throughly enjoyed his pizza.
The next day we headed to Central Park Zoo, my favorite place in the city.
The polar bear was awesome and huge.
Blake is very into vanilla milk from Starbucks and immediately goes to get himself one as soon as we walk in one (and yes that's quite often) Momma has to treat herself to an tall iced skinny decaf caramel macciato.
His hair is growing wild and curly
Whats more fun that chasing pigeons on NYC
Off to the childrens zoo in central park
Bunny hugs
Oh boy, this was the best part of the day, the feeding/petting area. Blake loved loved loved it and many pictures follow because the happiness in his face is palpable!
On the way out of the park I couldn't resist getting a street portrait done of our beautiful boy.
After that we went shopping of course, and bub took a nap amongst all the city crazy.
But woke up in time for the FDNY store and if you know our family you know why this was special to us and why the vision of Blake behind the wheel of a real fire truck left my mom sobbing, and oddly enough left my baby saying "bubba" for the first time.
Notice the sweatshirt, um yes it got chilly.
Can you guess what he was pointing at in Times Square......?
Disney store of course!
TO BE CONTINUED AND CONTINUED AND CONTINUED!!!!
