November here and about gone in a flash

Days, weeks, months and years seem to fly by ever since Blakey arrived, and before we knew November arrived and is quickly on it's way out.
Blake has discovered that in some areas of his life he actually enjoys independence, and so often and I mean often he is dragging some sort of chair or stool or dog stairs in order to make his move.

I have been reading "Mommy Teach Me" and it is awesome! So I have been trying to introduce a new activity from that book every couple weeks, so he can master whichever skill it is and then build on those new acquired skills. This was a ABC foam puzzle I found at the Dollar Tree, and I hid the letters in a bowl of rice. He loves it and will actually finish all 26 letters at one time.

Sometimes he needs a play break I guess

Another activity, color sorting with tongs. We frequent a bounce house place that also has arcade games almost every Friday and with all the tickets Blakey and Daddy win I get these colored bears and planes perfect for sorting.

I really feel like I have not seen our gorgeous babies face flawless in so long!!! It's either a scratch or a bruise or this.... A gash above his eye from a run in with the corner of Daddy's desk that resulted in a trip to urgent care for some medical glue. You can hardly see it now so I am so relieved there probably won't be any noticeable scar.
It was so traumatic for Baby and Mommy and Daddy that after urgent care we filled our cart with all the comforts Publix has to offer, cookies, popcorn, orange juice and a huge balloon for the kid (he chose all those items) and flowers and chocolate milk for Mommy.

We also celebrated Penelope's 2nd birthday where Steph asked me to take pictures for her to use on her blog so I am just going to share this one where our two two year olds enjoyed some Dora.

We live a spoiled existence, it's rough but somebodies gotta do it ;) Daddy went to the post office and apparently made a couple stops along the way. Blake loves these sticky froggy throw on the wall things that they have in those toys machines, and so my husband went to Pizza Hut for the sole purpose of buying a whole bunch of those.
 Blake was PUMPED!!!

The pit stop he made for Mommy was Cake Shop, yummmmmmm that mint one was so so so good. Like I said he spoils us, it's those little things that melt my heart.
