TWO years old, twenty four months, big boy, all those titles make me teary. I really can't believe this is already here. It seems like just yesterday I was tickling his feet to wake him up to eat, or changing diapers every 30 minutes, or just holding him in a cradle made with my knees and staring at him for hours at a time. Now I can't keep him still enough to stare, although I stare a lot when he's sleeping, now he tells me "I big boy." He makes life everything I hoped it would be, and I hope to make his life as wonderful as he has made ours. So officially Blake is almost 25 months old already and this post is super late. I am thinking that this will probably be the last monthly bear post, since I can't make him do this forever right, or can I? As you can tell from the following pictures this was an interesting bear pic session that included no sitting still, a lot of laughing, and a little yelling at Mommy, what can you do he's two now! I am thinking I might do them every three months or so and definitely every year. Anyway onto the good part.
Blake at 24 months....
1. Has new words almost daily
2. Definitely has a particular palette and often turns down non-organic fruit, and things he loves mommy to make at home he will not eat out (example quesadillas, I make his at home with a sprouted grain tortilla, organic black beans, organic hummus and organic cheese he eats that , but anywhere else he turns his nose up at a quesadilla, I don't get it)
3.Loves to yell at the dogs
4. Has stopped most hitting, biting etc and that phase is hopefully past for good this time.
5. Still not great at sharing but we are working on it
6. Is so so so sweet to babies, and bends down and says "hi Baby" which for some reason seems so strange since I still think of him as a baby
7. Yes he is still nursing and says "i momma's baby" when he wants to nurse, we have plans for a cold turkey week but my heart aches for what that may do to him
We have spent most of the summer at the pool this year
Have I mentioned the kid can make a mess in no time!!!
