My sister was participating in a talent/modeling showcase in Orlando so the whole family headed down for the fun. First stop was Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Krayton and I have been tons of times but this was Blake's first time since last year he was just too itty bitty to expose to all that stuff.
They pass out free cookies and hot cocoa....Blake was pretty into the cookie.
Of course we stopped at the Buzz ride.
He got this light up spinning Buzz Lightyear thingy and was mesmerized!
By the end of the night he had had enough.
We had adjoining rooms with Mommy and sister and Blake loved that he could go from room to room, more than that he loved the bathtub and loved just to hang out in there. Every time anyone was in the shower he insisted on a bath for himself and I suspect it had something to do with the fact that he could watch TV while he was relaxing in the tub.
We headed to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner one night and wore plastic bibs, so fun and delicious.
And oh boy this strawberry lemonade sprite concoction was amazing (usually a cocktail with liquor but I got a virgin one) and got to keep the jar, I have acquired a love for mason jars recently.
Blake and I also had our first Waffle House experience, which was quite the experience! And bub sat in his first booster seat.
It was a rainy day and so shopping was the plan, A LOT of shopping to which Blake eventually asked for his ipad and removed all foot coverings (shoes and socks) and decided to watch a movie and relax while Mommy had some serious fun.
Side note: Blake got a fever when we first arrived in Orlando and honestly I suspected it was a reaction to the hotel room which was making my allergies go crazy. He didn't act sick but his fever got as high as 103.3 (his highest ever in his life) so we headed to the fanciest urgent I have ever been too and low and behold my little trooper had his first ear infection (middle right ear) we were shocked since his only symptom was the fever and a slight decrease in appetite, he never even fussed. Antibiotics had the fever down in hours and gone within a day or two. So what started out not the best trip ended up being fun.
