In recent weeks we have initiated official "mommy break days," these are days when all I have to do is feed Blake since obviously the hubs can't, and he does everything else. I then can relax and do whatever I want, cook, sew, clean, nap, shop, anything. Well the most recent mommy break day (or MBD) I made some pumpkin butter, starting practicing how to do this adorable craft I found on a friends blog (so fun thanks Danielle!), and caught up on some reading (of course all parenting book reading). And although all I really needed to do was feed the baby I couldn't stay away, he is so darn lovable. Also Big Boy Blake has been upgraded to a very fancy (not pretty) big boy convertible car seat, he just didn't fit in his infant car seat anymore, he was so crammed and uncomfortable. So I researched and researched and the best and most safe I could find we bought, even though I find it highly unattractive.
