**Okay so my very sweet husband has bought me a gift, a new MacBook Pro, unfortunately I have no idea how to work it, so I can not figure out how to move these pictures to the end of the post, which is why they are at the beginning. I obviously need a tutorial!
We have had a busy couple of weeks, and Blake has experienced many things for the first time in these last couple weeks. He went out to eat for the first time, at Japanika, a hibatchi style restaurant. I have been so nervous about germs that I refused to take him many places, but now that he is older 9.5 weeks and has a good amount of weight on him (14 lbs.) I figured it was time. He was so good as usual and enjoyed watching the chef cook on the hibatchi grill, from a far obviously. He also started his tummy time class, which is so fun. He loves to listen to the teacher sing songs, he is not the biggest fan of tummy time so we figured this would be a good way for us to learn some new techniques. We also went to Panera with the little man for the first time, Panera is my favorite place, I would eat there twice daily if I could. Once again he was good, even though it was pretty late for him around 8:00, he just slept in his sling while we ate, and then hung out with his Aunt Rachael while I enjoyed a delicious brownie. He also tried out his first cloth diaper, my plan was always to use cloth diapers but he was so small and pooped so much in the beginning it was too much trouble , now that he is more "regular" and bigger we are starting the transition to cloth diapers. On the other side of firsts, the not so fun side, he also had his first shot. He didn't even cry or flinch, his Daddy was so proud, and promised to buy him a great toy for being such a trooper. I on the other hand was not so lucky and just cried and cried. We also got some not so happy news at that appointment, Blake may need to have a minor surgery to repair a inguinal hernia. I was basically inconsolable by the point the news sunk in, but we are just trying to remember that it could be so much worse and trust that all will be okay. We go for a surgical consult soon so we will know more then. That's about it for now, the time is just flying by, and before we know it our little pumpkin butt, or moose, as we call him now, is another week older.
