Yesterday ( Saturday) I noticed that it seemed like the air conditioner wasn't keeping things cool as it should. So when we woke this morning we took a look at the unit and oh my goodness, it was covered in ice (NOT GOOD.) We have only owned this house for about 2 months and the house is only 3 years old, so you can imagine our surprise. I guess this is what being a home owner is all about. So we had to turn the air off and let it unthaw, we called numerous air repair companies but nobody could come until tomorrow. And thus WE ARE HOT, even the pups are hot. Which I guess is why I found Lucy sleeping on the floor to stay cool, she is notorious for only sleeping on soft surfaces. Then I found Jack sleeping on our bed with his dad in front of a fan. I hate looking at those fans and it really messes up the decor of our master bedroom, but it does the job. I spent the day just trying to stay cool, I started reading this new book that came highly recommended by my friends Carissa and Crystle. I also knitted since it keeps me so calm and relaxed, and I needed that today. I got none of my Sunday chores done, no grocery shopping, no Starbucks, no bath for the pups, it was just too hot and the hot makes me lazy. Oh well let's hope tomorrow we will be back to our spoiled cool existence. Hope all are well after the storm, we are praying for all our loved ones who were adversely effected. Love Y'all
P.S. I am still learning how to do all this blog stuff, and the images are the hardest part I can't figure out how to rotate them (obviously) or delete them, basically anything at all that deals with the pictures. HELP, if you have any helpful hints I would be very appreciative.

Please excuse my husband's huge feet, but see what I mean about the ugly fan.

What I spent the day doing! Oh yeah I can only knit in a straight line so I have made many many, many scarfs, and this one is almost ready to be added to the collection. The book is turning out to be a page turner.
