Let me preface this post with I'M TIRED! Please excuse ramblings, grammatical errors, etc. And also I am so so behind in my blogging, and since I use this as his baby book (in spite of the fact that I did spend 80 bucks on a super cute baby book I have yet to even written his name in) I've got some serious catching up to do. Actually I have a lot to do like plan a birthday party, get ready for a big trip, oh and take care of a house, a husband, and a demanding toddler. Sheesh now that that's all out there I will move on.
Blake at 22 Months.....
1. Is oh so sweet, hitting and such are things of the past as of right now(have I mentioned that he really stopped all that months ago but who knows if I said that), he gives kisses to me a lot, hugs are a constant, and under the armpit cuddles are some of his favs, and mine.
2. I think he is cutting his two year molars and after a Grandma at target commented on his beauty, I said but whats with the mouth thing he's doing lately (shifting his lower jaw into class 3 bite) and she pointed out so nicely that he was probably cutting his molars. Uh DUH!!! How did that never occur to me, me a dental assistant with a bachelors in communication disorders. DUH!!!
3. He is obsessed with DVDs not necessarily watching them but holding them and looking at them and removing them from storage and taking them in and out of the PlayStation.
4. Knows how to throw a full on tantrum when he doesn't get his way, so fun!
5.Still nurses but only at sleeping times (nap and bedtime), we have successfully dropped all daytime nursing.
6. Has added a few new words but mostly in just working on making the words he has had sound like the real deal word.
7. He eats, I mean i wouldn't say he is picky but he is a little bit, but the problem is most of the time I have to put the food in his mouth. With the exception of a few thing like pizza, chicken tenders, and crackers or chips, he won't eat much unless I help. He loves to use a fork for anything but acts as though he could really care less about eating.
8. Loves the pool!!! And loves the beach, just loves the water. We are at the pool 3-5 times a week and he loves every minute of it.
9. Loves to do things everyday things that he can do almost by himself, like wash his hands, or put his shoes on, etc.
He loves cars and trucks! He wants to get in and inspect every vehicle and says "beep beep beep" the minute you open the car door.
Sometimes when I let the dogs out first thing in the morning Blake will join them.
We watched Penelope one afternoon while her Mama who writes this amazing blog went on TV to promote her 5K, which by the way Blake and I finished. Penelope brought a baby doll, Blake loves a doll and immediately went to get a bottle to feed the baby. How he knows to do that I'm unsure since he never really had a bottle.
Then he fed Penelope the bottle too.
Penelope (Blake's love) used to get a lot of rough behavior from Bub, he just loved her too much and she is a strong willed women and did not always do what he wanted her to do. Then one day he was done hitting and all that and so the love affair continues.
TV break, you can just see the love he feels for her.
Can't resist some chubby baby feet.
Then he decided she deserved a foot rub, when I was pregnant with him the hubs would rub my feet a lot, maybe it's in the blood ;)
DVD fanatic, with fanatical nap time hair.

Oh my gosh! I need all of these pictures. I hate that I didn't get to see it in person. They are so freaking cute together. I can start planning their wedding with this pictures.
