11 Months

Life has been busy and so fun around here lately so I am behind in my blogging here is a cleanup post.... Blake is 11 months old and I can't believe in a few short weeks he will be a year old.

Blake at 11 months.....

1. Is busy busy busy

2. Loves to climb and pull up on everything

3. Walks behind his walker

4. Talks and talks, he has added duck to his vocabulary and also signs duck

5. Is thinning out a bit

6. Spends a lot of time in the pool and loves the water

7. Still wakes up quite a bot for some comfort and nursing

8. Has dropped his morning nap and now just takes an afternoon nap for 2-3 hours (not alone, usually with mommy)

9. Has started eating table food a little more ( we are taking it pretty slow)

10. Is no longer anemic

11. Weighed 26 lbs at his last doctors appointment and 30.5 in length

12. Has taken a bath in the big tub (but continues to prefer his family showers)

13. Has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on bottom)

14. Sweats a lot just like his daddy

These picture sessions are getting more and more interesting and not quite as easy anymore, but so funny to watch.
Oh he kisses a lot, and today it was the bear who got some loving.

I think it's safe to say he has outgrown his bouncer, he took the seat with him when I took him out of it
Watching Clubhouse while I took a shower, he doesn't sleep in there don't be fooled

Has had many play dates and showed Hannah one of his favorite places, my very messy pantry

Had his first real boo boo head bump, he hit his head on the entertainment center while standing up, see it on the right part of his forehead.
Took his first big boy bath in the tub alone, he loved it but prefers family showers still

Is a bit of a fidgeter, he almost always plays with his toes while he watches his shows in the morning (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Curious George, and Sid the science kid)

Ate spaghetti with meat sauce for the first time, which was actually the first he ate what we ate for dinner, and he loved it, and loved making a huge mess with it.


Has been swinging at the park, always with a girl by his side.

Has been attending baby sign class where he on this day was quite the teacher's pet cuddling on her lap, he loves these classes and usually just leaves me behind to go make his rounds from all the kids and moms and teacher and toys. The one thing he doesn't enjoy is parachute time, he screams and screams and is inconsolable at the site of the parachute.
Has been trying on hats for his farm birthday party, boy do I love looking at that face!
