And through....The Apple Festival

It was Apple Festival time while we were in the mountains, and so we made sure to check it out.
Blake was most pumped about his Cheetos, a special treat.

Then he spotted this..... and insisted he "bounce"

 He loved it!!! Well until....

 He didn't anymore.

Mommy taking a rest while we went and picked up all our goodies from the vendors.

I am trying to make an effort to be in a  few pictures too...I hate it but it is for the kid not for me.

 Festival lemonade always yummy!
After the festival we headed to a real pumpkin patch, where Blake hoped to find Spookley.

He enjoyed knocking all the pumpkins down

 Celebration

Run, run, run, oh and run

Then he needs some cuddles

Second wind I found a stick!
And he ended the night with a relaxing bath, oh and some friends!

It was a great day! We even celebrated Memaw's birthday that evening.

Over the Mountain....Part 1

Get ready for some pictures there are a lot!

We headed to my Mom's mountain house in Ellijay for some Fall time fun, and fun was had!

Apple picking, pumpkin patches, and festivals oh my!

This was literally right after we arrived...hence the traveling clothes :) First things first throw rocks in the river.

 Naked Scooby Do game

We roasted marshmallows nearly every night

An apple jubilee at one of the orchards, and the kids chooses a hamburger bun, no meat just bun.

He really loves a hamburger bun, but only the top

The only kind of corn maze acceptable to me, a kids one.

Apple picking

The kid did not love it as much as I had envisioned but still had fun

Necessary yes!

The first orchard was a little over picked so we headed to another one and it was gorgeous and full of apples ready for the picking.

 That hair

What better way to pick an apple than in a tree, with assistance of course

The husband who does not even eat apples was all about filling his bag!

What else can you do when your three and in the middle of an orchard and have to pee!

Now shooting pumpkins out of a canon thingy that the kid can get on board with, he would have done it for hours!

Notice their matching faces, I love them!

More to come in the next posts, that was a ton of pictures, if only you knew how many I actually took!

Bowling... kind of

We took the wild man bowling for the first time, not his first time at the bowling alley but his first time with his own ball, and shoes, and name on the board. He loved it for the first 5 or 6 frames, he rolled it at first then we got him a ramp. I got a strike the first frame and then that was that, I stink! We will definitely be back for more bowling.

Nice job Daddy, high five!

I just could not get enough of these cute shoes!

This is what he did while the Hubs and I finished our game.
