20 Months

Blake at 20 months....

1. Is still talking, talking, talking. Full on conversations except we don't know what he's talking about :)
2. Is loving his flashcards and puzzles
3. Knows exactly what should happen when during his daily routine and after lunch immediately asks for "night night, nah nahs, and boooks" so sweet
4. Loves the dogs especially Jack and calls for him in his sleep, and gets so upset when he can't catch them
5. Has been known to throw a fit or two if he can't do what he wants to do when he wants to do it, especially if he's tired

I believe some kind of flu made it ways around this house starting with mommy and then to bub who is all his life has never acted like he felt bad until this 24 hour flu bug got a hold of him, he just cried and whimpered and cuddles and slept it was awful to watch!!!!

We love to hang out at our neighborhood park since the weather is warmer now

Love that scrunchy nose smile

First visit to Mary Brogan Museum

First I have a couple confessions...
1.Blake and I are spoiled! Daddy works from home so we get to have a lot of great family outings during the week when things aren't so crowded
2. I take a ton of pictures any given day
3. I have a hard time deciding which pictures to post so I end up posting a lot
4. Life at the Johnson's is pretty wonderful BUT life with an alpha male toddler can also be difficult its not all just hand holding through the park and snuggles (although there is a lot of that)... proof of this lies in the books on my nightstand
         The No Cry Discipline Solution
The No Cry Sleep Solution for toddlers
         God's Promises for Boys
Oh and Classic Winnie the Pooh :)

On to the fun... we are officially members of the Mary Brogan museum, and our first visit was quite fun. They had a big bug exhibit and after running around the museum we headed to Po Boys for lunch outside.

Something about seeing my boys walk hand in hand or even just next to each other melts my heart, as you may have noticed since i have about 100 pictures of it.

My kid is obsessed with drinking out of big people cups, especially if he suspects it contains lemonade (as Daddy's usually does) and much to my unease Daddy gives him some ;)

Valentine's Day 2011

I had no idea this post would include so many pictures but it does! Valentine's Day was awesome and we just shared the day all together hanging out, just how we like it. We did have a snafu, shutting Blakey's finger in the car door. But as usual he was a trooper and was back on the move after some nursing time and cuddles, he only cried for like a minute. On to better things now...
Tori and cash came over for some Valentine's crafts and boy playtime. I love this picture of him holding the marker so seriously.

 The results.....
Then they were off to get in some trouble

I also did a little Valentine gift project with bubby and they turned out so cute.

Although the paint did not come off the kid very easily

Memaw got Blakey a ton of gardening stuff for his Valentine's day gifts

He was quick to start using his new broom

And he gave her this.... the product of the previous messy project

Valentine's Day morning Blakey was very happy to see the surprises awaiting him

Do you know who Pokoyo is... well he is a little toddler character from Nick Jr, not even a whole show just a snipet between other shows, he probably only seen it 3 times and it only lasts 2 minutes or so but we knew immediately he loved it when he started hysterically laughing and pointing at the tv.

 This is Pokoyo!

I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast after he opened his gifts, I made Blakey a Mickey Mouse pancake
And i tried to make heart pancakes for us but they didn't turn out to heartish.

Then Blakey and I made cupcakes, to which he mainly just tried to eat the batter and say "mmmmm"

Daddy put up the bounce house for bubby and he had bunches of bouncing fun.

 Valentine's Cupcakes
After nap we took Peneople her Valnetine to her... including a baby cowl to which Blakey had a matching one (the had hearts on them), and a handmade card.
Here is his Valentine, I call her Pretty P.
