Recent Events Catch Up...

This is a catch up post of what we have been up to lately, it's kind of a hodge podge but so be it!

The Mickey's Roadshow came to town and so of course we went. Here is one of the only pics of Blake wearing his Mickey ears he is in a no hat wearing stage.

As you can tell....

He had so much fun and this was him the entire show, no asking to go run around, no whining, just watching and being mesmerized.

Especially during the Toy Story portion, and he loved the Tigger part and danced and bounced through the whole Tigger song.

We also had H.C.'s birthday party to go to which was so fun!

They had a music therapist do a music time (brilliant idea!!!) and Blake was in the middle of it a lot! He loves guitars and the music lady's ipod (surprise.)

The weather has been nicer and we have spent time at the parks around town. We usually meet some friends there and this day Blake was all over the place playing like such a big boy not needing mommy at all. He thought this was so cool and I actually fed him his banana through the holes.
He always goes down the slides on his belly.

15 Months....

Blake at 15 Months....

1. Walks!!!! We have waited and waited and he officially is a walker and walks probably 90% of the time. He still has a little trouble getting to standing without using something to pull up on but hes not really wobbly at all while walking at this point.
2. Loves all things Toy Story especially Woody, we don't really know how it happened or where it came from but from the moment he saw the Toy Story display at Borders he has been obsessed and wakes up every morning and goes straight for his Woody or Buzz.
3. Talks quite a bit and has added a few more words including
hat (because of Woody's hat)
I love you (has reemerged)
4. Still nurses at night a bit, and has recently decided only daddy can put him to sleep
5. Loves to eat especially organic spinach and feta pizza and most fruit
6. Is thinning out quite a bit and his cloth diapers keep needing to be snapped smaller and smaller
In honor of Blake's new found love of Woody, Memaw bought him a Woody costume and we took his bear pic in it. We love that he has actually attached to a "lovey" his stuffed Woody.

Yee Haw!!!
Pizza Night! He doesn't leave any on his plate

Daddy bought him his first power wheels and its a Toy Story one of course

All his Toy Story stuff laying around, he plays with all of it all day long

Is always interested in what I am doing in the kitchen, this morning it was cinnamon rolls which he got a taste of and enjoyed. If I don't get him in his learning tower and let him help he heads off to his kitchen to do some cooking/cleaning of his own.

While I cook dinner this is what I see, a MESS!, but I love it and its too funny to see Daddy playing that tiny guitar, Blake loves to dance to the "music" of that guitar. (please try to ignore the laundry waiting to be folded ;)

Blake loves books still and he always has to start his playtime with some books.

His hair is always a topic of conversation, its adorable and funny. Lots of hair in the back that tends to curl and swirl around, not so much hair in the front, that's right its a baby mullet!

And it sometimes looks like a chicken butt!

Pumpkin Patch Cutie

We took Blake to the Pumpkin Patch a couple days ago and it was so fun! This year he was walking and more interested in the pumpkins. When we first arrived he looked at all the pumpkins and kept saying "ball, ball, ball, ball, ball!"
This face cracks me up.
"Ball, ball, ball"
Seriously I am so in love in that face
That adorable shirt is courtesy of my friend Jessica who makes the most adorable shirts... if you ever need anything she can do it all and loves custom orders or if you want a gift idea for Blakey feel free. You can find her here

Studying the pumpkins
This is a perfect example of the thumb out that I mentioned in the walking post, I guess he uses it for balance.

Okay ma enough pictures!!!

He walks

Blake has been working on walking for what seems like months, realistically I think about a month exactly since his first steps, he nows walks longer distances and makes turns. He does the cutest thing which is putting his thumb out on his right hand to "balance" himself I guess. We love seeing him walk but it also makes him seem not like a baby anymore which is also a little sad.
